COLLECTION AW13

For our AW13 campaign we teamed up with two Californian bands: Allah-Las and Nick Waterhouse. Allah-Las' members met while working at one of the greatest record stores in the US, Amoeba Music, where they spent countless hours studying up on the vintage sounds that compose their affectingly melancholic self-titled debut. Some describe it as mystery music from the strange and ancient-modern California fringe. Allah-Las is a reflection of a reflection, a band that is psychedelic not because of reverb or shredding through pedals but for the simple way their songs seem to extend to infinity. All of their songs were produced by Nick Waterhouse, a fine L.A. singer-songwriter whose ' Time's All Gone ' LP is a spirited and record-geek friendly collection of

raucous 50s-style R&B thrashers. His production involves a lot of tubes and analogue equipment in order to create a 'natural' sound. Both are ultimately preoccupied with sound above all else. That's why this collaboration made perfect sense to us as we are vivid music lovers and share a mutual quest for perfection in both sound and knitwear. Just like their timeless approach on music we don't believe there is a need to think in seasons for clothing, simply quality goods to be worn in the real world.
