Our House *restock

Our House is a picture book created by Katrien Hendrickx, Mieke Verbijlen and Renilde De Peuter. Inspired by their shared love for children’s art, nature, collecting and photography, the book celebrates the beauty of imagination and play.

Our House is a metaphor for a safe, creative space — a place where ideas flow freely and the senses stay open. It echoes the feeling of childhood mornings, when the day begins softly and anything seems possible.

The book brings together children’s drawings, paintings and bricolage from art schools and workshops, combined with travel photography and images influenced by art history and handicraft. It forms a playful visual world that feels both familiar and dreamlike.

Made for dreamers, children, teachers and anyone who remembers long afternoons lost in play, Our House invites you to open a window and step back into that space of wonder.
